Welcome to Red Seal Pro Academy ("we," "us," "our," or "the Platform"), operated as a sole proprietorship based in British Columbia, Canada. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Description of Service

Red Seal Pro Academy is an online subscription platform providing exam preparation study materials for Canadian Red Seal trade certifications, including theory content, practice questions, timed mock exams, self-assessment tools, and supplementary study resources across multiple trades.

Our content is created independently to help learners prepare for the official Red Seal examinations. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Red Seal Program, Employment and Social Development Canada, or any provincial/territorial trade certification authority. Our practice questions and materials are original study aids based on publicly available exam blueprints and occupational standards — they are not, and do not claim to be, actual Red Seal exam questions.

2. Account Registration

To access most features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

Providing accurate information when registering
Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Notifying us promptly at support@redsealproacademy.ca if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

Accounts are for individual, personal use only. Sharing account access or credentials with others is not permitted.

3. Subscription Plans & Payment

We offer the following recurring subscription plans, priced per trade:

Monthly subscription — billed every month, auto-renews each month unless cancelled
3-Month subscription — billed every 3 months, auto-renews each period unless cancelled
6-Month subscription — billed every 6 months, auto-renews each period unless cancelled

If you purchased a plan we previously offered (such as an annual or lifetime plan) before these plans took effect, you keep the access and terms you were provided at the time of your purchase.

All prices are listed and charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are inclusive of applicable Canadian sales tax where required. Payments are processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription's auto-renewal at any time through your Account settings (via the Stripe Customer Portal). Cancelling stops future renewal charges — you retain full access to the content you've already paid for through the remainder of your current paid term. If you would like a refund of a recent charge rather than simply stopping future renewals, see our Refund Policy in Section 5.

5. Refund Policy

You may request a full refund within 7 days of any charge (your initial purchase, or any subsequent subscription renewal) by emailing support@redsealproacademy.ca. We will process approved refund requests within a reasonable timeframe, and your access to the corresponding trade will end once the refund is issued.

Refund requests made after 7 days from the relevant charge are not eligible under this policy, though we may still review exceptional circumstances at our discretion.

If you believe you were charged in error (e.g., a duplicate charge or unauthorized transaction), please contact us regardless of the 7-day window and we will review the situation.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Reproduce, distribute, sell, or share Platform content (theory materials, practice questions, exams, or bonus resources) outside your own personal study use
Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to extract content from the Platform
Attempt to circumvent paywall restrictions or access content you have not paid for
Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including theory chapters, practice questions, mock exams, study guides, and bonus resources — is the original intellectual property of Red Seal Pro Academy and is protected by copyright. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access and study this content; it does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

8. No Guarantee of Exam Results

While our content is designed to help you prepare thoroughly, we do not guarantee that use of the Platform will result in passing any Red Seal examination or obtaining certification. Exam outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your individual study habits, prior experience, and the specific content of the official exam administered by the relevant certifying body.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Red Seal Pro Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to exam performance outcomes, technical interruptions, or data loss.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform where practical.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
